"Boyd Meets Girl" to perform in Colby!

Sunday, February 23 at 3 p.m. in the Cultural Arts Center on the Colby College campus, WPAA will welcome “Boyd Meets Girl”. An international duo of classical guitar and cello, “Boyd Meets Girl”, will perform a mixed program of classical and pop music. Boyd Meets Girl pairs Australian classical guitarist Rupert Boyd with American cellist Laura Metcalf. The duo has toured the world sharing their eclectic mix of music.

The duo arranges much of their repertoire themselves, drawing inspiration from artists across all genres, and often speak from the stage about the works to create an engaging, conversational concert experience that breaks down boundaries not only between musical genres but between audience and performer. 

Admission to this program is by WPAA season ticket or tickets can be purchased at the door. This program is made possible through the generosity of area businesses, individual donors, Thomas County Community Foundation and a grant from the Dane Hansen Foundation.
